About Tokyo Docs
Tokyo Docs is a documentary film festival that provides filmmakers from Japan and other parts of Asia with opportunities to develop and realize international co-productions of documentary films. The festival commemorates its fifth anniversary this year and is held with the support of Japanese TV broadcasters, governmental organizations and other such entities.
Around 30 guests from Europe, North America and Asia will be invited to Tokyo Docs 2015, including decision makers from broadcasters and distribution companies. Over the four days, there will be an event to pitch projects to these guests, networking events between filmmakers, and various workshops on international co-production. There will also be an event called Asia Day, which focuses on networking between Asian filmmakers and developing international co-productions.
